Tanggal 26 April, mulai jam 7.30 pagi sekolahnya Paco menyelenggarakan acara Family Day.. Intinya 4 'houses' (House of Water, House of Air, House of Fire, House of Earth - bukan Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw dan Slytherin, walaupun konsepnya mirip2.. hehe) gathering dan ada pertandingan..

Paco sendiri masuk House of Water.. Dresscodenya biru biru.. Sayang suamiku agak sakit perut pagi itu (yang ternyata usus buntu.. hiks hiks), jadi dia ngga ikut..

Selain games, ada bazaar juga.. Seru lah..

Salah satu jenis permainan saya dengan Paco adalah bermain 'mention a thing', dimana dalam permainan itu saya bilang "mention a thing that is...." trus ditambahin kata sifat, bentuk atau warna,.. short, long, tall, black, white, red, blue, round, triangle, etc etc.. tujuannya sambil bermain dan ketawa-ketawa juga skalian berlatih kosa kata.. 

Tadi malam, sambil main 'mention the thing' saya bertanya sama dia, trus jawaban dia bikin terharu biru.. Gini nih ceritanya :

Ingks : Bang, mention an orange thing
Paco : The magazine! (ada majalah yg ada warna orangenya memang.. hehe)
Ingks : Satu lagi nih.. mention a thing that is nice
Paco : Hm.. YOU! *sambil nunjuk saya* You are my mother, you are very veryy nice..!
Ingks : **speechless** .. waaaa..

Yahh begitulah..

Berawal karena dede Belle sakit minggu lalu, yang panasnya ampun-ampun sampe 40 derajat , Mama jadi kuatir kalau abang tertular dan terganggu karena adik rewel, jadi lah bang Paco pindah ke kamar sebelah dan bobo sendiri..
Ternyata, bang Paco kesenengan bisa bobo sendiri, udah jadi big boy katanya

Jadi udah semingguan ini ritual malam si abang kaya gini nih :
- pipis, cuci kaki, cuci muka dan sikat gigi -- ini juga udah bisa sendiri lhooo.. walaupun untuk sikat giginya masih musti diliatin mama, takutnya kurang detil nyikatnya, dan takutnya juga, pas kumur2 malah main sembur2an sampe bajunya basah semua.. (udah pernah kejadian soalnya.. hihi )
- ganti baju, nah kalo ini masih dibantu sama mama or mbak. Cuma Paco udah mulai belajar kancing baju sendiri. Kalau buka kancing sih udah lumayan lancar.. hehehe
- ambil buku dan masuk kamar sebelah, trus nyalain AC di kamar sebelah
- teriak "mamaaa! aku udah ready! ayo kita baca bukuuu!"
- terus mama masuk deh, baca buku sama2 abang.. sekarang abang lagi suka buku Children's Bible Stories.. terutama pas cerita Daniel di kandang singa.. hehehe..

Abis baca buku, abang dan mama berdoa bersama, terus minum susu (Mama masih berusaha untuk membuat tradisi minum susu ini jadi sebelum sikat gigi, tp masih blom bisa.. pelan2 harus minum susu sebelum sikat gigi ya bang..)

Abis itu abang bobo dehh.... zzz zzz zzz..

Setelah abang bobo, pelan2 Mama pindah ke kamar Mama, dan bobo temenin adik Belle.. soalnya kan adik masih ASI kalau malam, takutnya nanti cari2an deh sama Mama..

Paco : Ma, Tuhan Yesus kok rumahnya di atas sana sih? *sambil nunjuk ke awan*

Me : Iya, kan Tuhan Yesus di surga, jadi di langit sana Bang.. Teruus naik ke atas

Paco : Jangan disitu dong Tuhan Yesus..

Me : Lho emang kenapa Bang?

Paco : Ntar jatuh loh..

Me : *senyam senyum*

Ambil raport Paco minggu lalu..

Secara dia masih TK, jadi untuk competenciesnya ngga ada nilai yang pas,..It only ranges from Need Improvement, Satisfactory, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.


So, here we go :

CORE SUBJECTS :

Bahasa Indonesia
Competencies (milestones) : 7 items
Contohnya: Siswa mampu melaksanakan perintah berurut dengan benar, siswa memahami konsep lawan kata, siswa dapat menceritakan gambar
Result : 5 Excellent, 2 Very good

Language (English)
Competencies : 12 items (4 for reading/phonics, 4 for writing and 4 for speaking)
Contohnya : student is able to recognize all letter sounds, able to read three letter words, form letters correctly, able to ask structured questions in english
Result : 2 Excellent, 10 Very good

Maths
Competencies : 5 items
Contohnya: students is able to group by two characteristics, student is able to sequence three pictures to tell story
Result : 2 Excellent, 3 very good,

Science
Competencies : 4 items
Contoh: Student is able to seek info about what happens in his surroundings by asking questions, student is able to think logically
Result : 3 Good, 1 Satisfactory

TEACHERS' COMMENTS

Term I
Theme : 5 Senses
Pascal did not find any difficulties in identifying the five senses along with their functions. Most of his answers were given in English but sometimes Pascal guessed the answer before finally gave the correct answer.
Theme : What day is it?
Pascal had slight doubts in showing us his comprehension on this theme. He understood the concept, but sometimes would mix up the animals and the food of the day. He comprehended completely very well the time divisions and the shapes that are seen throughout the day or night, but mostly he explained them in Bahasa. Keep on trying Pascal!

Term II
Theme : Sing me a song
Pascal has the competency of improvising a story. He liked to connect some facts with the story he knows or has heard. He has done well in presenting his story, but often mixed up the language and seemed a little bit shy in raising his voice. He's a good listener and get actively responded to each story delivered. Thumbs up for Pascal!
Theme : It's chow time!
Pascal definitely enjoyed this topic. In some sessions he had some active responses in English. He needs more practice in classifying the different types of food into the food pyramid and in differentiating the healthy from the unhealthy food. He also needed to be reminded more when specifying which healthy food is not to be taken too much.


Six Pillar Component of Character (Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship)

-- Pascal is a boy with responsibility. He usually tidies up his table after eating and he keeps reminding his classmates to tidy up as well. Pascal puts an effort to do his tasks. We hope that Pascal can improve his skills in respecting his friends especially in sharing and taking turns in using the toys with his classmates.

-- Pascal is an active child. He likes to participate in every class activity. He voluntarily answers teacher's questions during class presentations. Since he has started speaking three letter words in English, Pascal has been continuing to practice his language skills. He is an outspoken child and he will express his thoughts verbally to his teachers and his friends. He can manage the Math lessons, but sometimes teachers need to tell him to finish his work on time. Pascal sometimes can be very playful during the lessons and we would then need to remind him. In the future we hope Pascal can improve his self-management skills. Don't give up, Pascal.

Hari Sabtu pagi kemarin, Paco terima raport kenaikan kelas.. Secara dia masih PPG (Pre-Playgroup), jadi raportnya ngga ada nilai, semua komentar dan saran aja dari gurunya..

Raportnya secara keseluruhan baik, kata miss-nya malah perkembangannya sangat bagus (emaknya GR dotcom deh..  ), yang perlu dilatih lagi cuma mewarnai dan bertanggung jawab atas barang miliknya.. Kalau mewarnai suka ngga sabaran, jadi cenderung keluar garis, dan kalau ngga dibimbing, pasti jadinya monochrome (baca : 1 warna aja) hihihi.. Nah kalo masalah barang, kata miss-nya, Paco itu pasti selalu ngingetin temennya yang kelupaan barangnya, tapi punya dia sendiri sering ketinggalan, yang biasanya diingetin ama temen2nya yang suka kelupaan juga.. haha.. Jadi saling membantu lah istilahnya

Perkembangan yang paling baik adalah untuk kemampuan berbahasa dan logika.. Paco masuk the best among the class (GR dotcom lageh ) untuk logika, kaya matching games dan menyusun puzzle.. Kebetulan 2 mainan itu favoritnya Paco.. terutama puzzle.. Kemarin dapet oleh2 dari omanya dari Spore puzzle Barney 16pcs, dia bisa nyusun sendiri tanpa bantuan  hehe senang skali euyy...

Cuma kemarin sempet sedih juga krn tahun ajaran baru besok dia pindah sekolah.. Sementara di Efata ini dia udah sekolah dari masih belum lancar bicara, sampai sekarang yang udah cerewet banget.. Kemarin miss-nya, yang ngajar dia dari awal, sampai berkaca2 ngomong sama Paco, nasihatin harus dengerin mama, dan dengerin miss-nya yang baru nanti di BiNus, dan jangan lupain miss yang di Efata.. dan ga tau perasaan saya aja, Paco juga sedih pas dengerin miss-nya..

Sorenya saya ngobrol2 sama Paco, dia bilang "Mama, aku di Efata aja deh, jangan ke Binus, nanti ngga ketemu miss.."  Aku bingung juga, cuma untungnya sekolahnya yang baru nanti masuknya agak siang jam 8.30, jadi masih sempat kalau mau main2 ke Efata, secara Efata cuma 3 menit jalan kaki dari rumah .. Jadi aku bilang seperti itu ke Paco, dan kayanya dia terhibur, dan semangat lagi mau masuk sekolah baru.. hehe

Yah gitu deh ceritanya.. all in all, happy holidays ya.. Selamat menikmati waktu bersama anak2 untuk sebulan kedepan.. hehe..
